“He Will Send Your Sons To War”~ Prayer and Blessing for My Beloved

A golden crown placed on a dark surface, with a biblical quote from 1 Samuel 8:7 NIV overlaid in large, clear font.
1 Samuel 8:7

The prophet Samuel warned the Israelites about the danger and loss of freedom when individuals want a human king to rule over them rather than following the commandments of God to love him first and their neighbor as themselves.

In 2026, who will you vote for to rule over you? This is not just a question you must answer in this upcoming election, but it’s an ongoing existential one that we as Jews, Christians, or Gentiles must answer in life. Do we give ourselves over to social media, influencers, pundits with the largest audience, best-looking features, characteristics, or to evil masquerading as good? Can you discern right from wrong?

Or do you demonstrate a modern form of the Acts 19:32 clickbait crowd mentality—blindly following and easily being deceived by others or leaders? Do you follow those whose motives on the surface appear good and trustworthy, give you promises of money, material gain, pleasure, and freedom, only to snare and destroy you like a snake when they have your vote or your soul?

What are you doing with the precious dot you’ve been given? Those who do not learn from the past are destined to repeat it. I pray your choices in life are based on love and not hate. May God grant you wisdom and discernment to know the difference.

“This shall be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: he will take your sons, and appoint them to his chariots, and to be his horsemen… and to reap his harvest, and to make instruments of war… He will also take your daughters.” (1 Samuel 8:11-13)

Enjoy your day, use it wisely and know that the best is yet to come! ❤️ always and forever.
