My heart is grieved as I write this prayer for Pope Leo XIV, but I am not without hope because I know that God is able to do abundantly, exceedingly above all that we can ask or think. I ask believers to join with me in prayer and send God’s word to Pope Leo XIV as follows:
Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over Pope Leo from the crown of his head to the soles of his feet. We ask that you would bring healing to every muscle, tendon, nerve, blood vessel, bone, and organ in his body. In your name, we bind the enemy of cancer; we take authority over it and command it to die. We curse it, just as you cursed the unproductive fig tree.
We are thankful that you gave us this same authority to call those things that don’t exist into existence. So, it is in your name, in the nature of Jesus Christ, the great Healer, the Great Physician, that we call forth life and wholeness into Pope Leo’s mind, body, and spirit. We ask that you would guide the medical team, give them wisdom, understanding, and insight into assisting in his healing and restoration.
And God, if you should choose to call the Pope to his eternal rest with you, it is those who are left behind that I grieve most for. Pope Leo will be fine because he knows God, and he knows that Christ is to him both in life and in death advantage.
I grieve for those who don’t understand or squander their dot in time; those who are needlessly depressed, feel forsaken, sick, and wander through life without purpose and joy. I pray that they would come to know that God’s will is that they would have life, and that more abundantly. To them I say, you are not naked and alone. God loves you, and if you would turn to him, he promises to give you an abundant life here on earth and in eternity with him.
“He sendeth his word and healeth them, and delivereth them from their graves.” (Psalm 107:20)
Enjoy your day, use it wisely and know that the best is yet to come! ❤️ always and forever.
