“God Is Doing A New Thing, Can You Not Perceive It?”

By His Stripes We Are Healed

Travail is necessary and precedes the new thing God is doing. He is making a way in the deserts, desolate, flood ravaged, and war-torn areas all over the world. These events wear on us and daily assault our humanity and emotions. They cause us to question our existence and whether God cares about us. Although, the blood of Abel cries out for vengeance, the blood of Christ himself, speaks of better things than those called forth by Abel’s blood.

The travail must come before the breaking forth of the new thing. As believers, we must travail like Rachel for our wholeness and that of others. The Word tells us that these present afflictions are just for a moment, but in due season we will reap if we faint not. His promise is to provide for us as we go through the dark valleys of life and flood us with goodness and mercy in our wilderness experiences. ‘Though weeping may endure for a night, God promises that joy will come in the morning, the here and now, and forever more.

“Behold, I do a new thing: now shall it come forth: shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the desert, and floods in the wilderness.” (Isaiah 43:19)

Enjoy your day, use it wisely and know that the best is yet to come! ❤️ always and forever.
